IDL extends welfare palliatives to communities in support of ogun state to cushion the effects of the hardships bestowed on the citizens towards the total and adjusted medium of lock down as declared by the federal government . Millions of naira was budgeted and spent on the items meant for distribution to the communities surrounding them as their own contributions toward ameliorating the negative impacts of the global pandemic on the economy. Stated in his statement as he relates with the the press crew with Global parlance magazine in attendance that despite being operating with less than 20 percent of their operation capacity the spirit and wine producing company deem it fit to extend hands of welfare fellowship to their immediate environment in support of the ogun state government in cushioning the effect of the hardship on the people of the state. He added that the people should as a matter of urgency abide strictly to the stay at home lockdown action of the government so as to prevent further community carriage of the infections in the state. The items of hundreds of rice and noodles cartons were distributed to the CDAS through their community chairmen of Covenant garden, Crown estate and Unity estate respectively. Mr Charles Isibor,Olakunle Ajayi and Adeyemi Abioye, some of the leaders of the beneficial communities expresses gratitude to the organisation for the timely interventions as they are overwhelmed with residents daily financial and material requests due to the negative impact of the global pandemic
